YSP.SELECT ("YSP", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you visit our store or place an order, how we use it, and the rights you have over it under the Nigeria Data Protection Act / NDPR.
What we collect
- Contact details — your name, email address, and phone number.
- Order details — the items you buy, sizes, and your delivery address.
- Payment information — handled securely by Paystack. We never see or store your full card details.
- Messages — anything you send us when you order or enquire on WhatsApp.
- Usage data — basic, anonymised analytics about how the store is used (see Cookies below).
How we use it
- To process and deliver your orders.
- To respond to your enquiries and provide support.
- To send you drop announcements and offers — only if you joined the list, and you can leave at any time.
- To understand and improve the store.
Payments
All payments are processed by Paystack, a licensed payment provider. Your card or bank details are entered on Paystack's secure system, not stored by YSP. Paystack handles that data under its own privacy policy.
WhatsApp orders & enquiries
If you order or enquire through WhatsApp, your message and phone number are used only to complete that order or answer your question. We do not add you to the newsletter from a WhatsApp chat without your consent.
Cookies & analytics
We use minimal cookies and tools such as Google Analytics to see anonymised traffic and improve the store. These do not identify you personally. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data, ever. We share only what is needed with: our payment provider (Paystack), our delivery partners (to get your order to you), and our email/SMS tools (to send what you asked for). Each handles your data under its own policy.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as needed for our business and any legal obligations, then delete them. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under the NDPR you can ask us to: see the data we hold on you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. To exercise any of these, just email us.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No online service can be 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe and limit who can access it.
Children
YSP.SELECT is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy as the store grows. The latest version always lives on this page, with the effective date above.
